Larry Garner fait partie de ces bluesmen qui sont un trait d’union entre les « légendes » telles que BB, Muddy et John Lee et toute la nouvelle génération. Sa carrière l’a conduit auprès des majors comme Universal avant de migrer vers Dixiefrog où il a enregistré nombre de véritables pépites dont « Blues For Sale ». Un album qui magnifie sa science d’un blues électrique dans sa version la plus traditionnelle. Un peu comme les Tables de la Loi du genre !

Larry Garner is one of those bluesmen who links legends such as BB, Muddy and Jon Lee with the whole new generation. His career led him to the great labels such as Universal before migrating to Dixiefrog where he has recorded many fine masterpieces, one such being ‘Blues for Sale’. An album which magnifies his science of electric blues in a most traditional manner. A Ten Commandments in the genre!
